The Académie France Médias Monde team and its speakers
The Académie team is made up of journalists renowned for their professional experience and their teaching abilities. Comfortable in all areas, they can train TV, radio and multimedia journalists, adapting each time to specific constraints. They are your contact for all training activities.
A journalist at FRANCE 24 since the channel was launched and with prior experience at France 2, Europe 1 and France Info, Antoine Cormery has presented the morning news, chaired the Debate programme and hosted the evening talk show. He currently presents 'Reporters', FRANCE 24's weekly programme dedicated to in-depth news coverage. A graduate of the Centre de Formation des Journalistes de Paris and director of CFPJ's audiovisual department from 2003 to 2006, he has taught courses in Mali, Tunisia, Algeria and French overseas departments.
Antoine Cormery also currently lectures at Sciences Po's school of journalism.
Fady is project manager for the Académie for Arabic-speaking countries. With a doctorate in theatre and cinema studies he has been an assistant film director, artistic consultant for television production companies, radio producer and trainer at RFI and elsewhere, and programming manager at Radio Monte Carlo.
Fady Matar also sits on juries, and takes part in conferences on Arabic music. He has also been contacted by numerous International Training organisations such as Hirondelle and Inter-News.
Alicia SAINT JOUAN joined RFI in September 2000, first as the assistant of the Human Resources Director. Then, she became the assistant of the Finance Department Director. Alicia moved to the International Training Department, where she was the assistant of John Maguire and responsible for foreign trainees, in 2004. Currently, she is coordinating projects in the Académie with Antoine Cormery.
Nayla Saad is the development manager at the Académie France Médias Monde. She is responsible for creating and maintaining partnerships with different media: Radio Monte Carlo Doualiya, France 24, Radio France Internationale, as well as the development of social networking sites and the Académie's website.
Holder of a diploma in Radio - TV journalism from the Faculty of Journalism of the Lebanese University - Beirut and then his master I in Culture and Communication Media, Culture and Society course and her master II in Culture and Communication International Media course Paris VIII University in Paris, she joined the Monte Carlo Doualiya radio team as a production assistant then as a journalist for the website and the editorial team before joining the Académie in 2022.
Nayla is an SEO training facilitator for Arabic-language medias.
