For the fourth year, the Académie organised training sessions at the Senghor University in Alexandria. Virginie Herz from France 24 led a training session on TV journalism from 12th to 16th of February and Fady Matar another session on radio journalism from 26th of February to 3rd of March. 22 students from French speaking Africa attended these sessions.
From February 27th to 28th, Robert Parsons from France 24 led a new management workshop for the "regional media association" in Tbilissi within the framework of the European Union project OPEN Media Hub.    
Between February 5th and 23rd, Fady Marar led 3 training sessions at the Al Jazeera Training and Development Centre . Two of the sessions were about voice training and the third was on radio presenting.
Florence Morice from RFI led, from 20th to 22nd of February in Bamako, a seminar on the presence of women in the media. This was part of the CFI project "Deux voix, un avenir".
Fady Matar hosted an initiation workshop to radio journalism for students of the Lycée Bonaparte in Qatar on February 1st and 2nd.
From January 15th to 19th, Antoine Cormery hosted for Kuwaiti journalists a training session on TV presenting and Fady Matar a voice training session. These sessions are part of the broadcasting agreement of RFI and Monte Carlo Doualiya in Kuwait.
Following a request of the new management of Palestine Broadcasting Corporation, Antoine Cormery led an audit mission of the newsroom of palestine TV in Ramallah from December 12th to 15th.
For the fourth year, the Académie worked with the French embassy in Iraq in order to organise a training session for Iraqi journalists in Paris. This year, 5 journalists from different media organizations attended a session on "fact checking and the digital environments". The session took place in France Médias Monde from November 24th to December 8th and started with a day in the Google News Lab which presented its tools for journalists.
Sophie Marsaudon co-hosted a seminar on the media coverage of sexual abuses against children organised by The Council of Europe in Tunis on December 7th and 8th.
The Académie organised a media training workshop in the Women's forum of Deauville which took place from November 30th to December 2nd and which counts France Médias Monde among its partners. The attendees of the forum could initiate themselves to the interview and get a personalised feedback with Sophie Marsaudon in English and Antoine Cormery in French. Ludivine Amado from RFI was controlling the studio.
