Within the framework of France 24's broadcasting on the Comorian DTTV agreement, the Académie organised from May 15th to 19th two training sessions for journalists from the Comorian radio and television. Sophie Marsaudon led a workshop on radio reporting and Antoine Cormery a workshop on piece-to-camera.
From May 14th to 18th, Fady Matar led a voice training session at the Al Jazeera media training centre in Doha. 8 participants from multiple Arab countries attended this session.
From May 2nd to 11th, Fady Matar organised 2 training sessions in Beyrouth for fifteen journalists from the Arabic and French service of Radio Liban. The session in French was about radio editorial writing and voice whereas the second was in Arabic and dealt with voice.
For the fourth year, Sophie Marsaudon went to Maseru the capital of the kingdom of the sky, to host a training session at the National Radio of Lesotho. Around twenty journalists attended two workshops on news production beteween 17th and 28th of April.
The Académie was present at the France Médias Monde's stand at the 18th edition of the Arab radio and TV festival of the Arab State Broadcasting Union in Tunisia from 25th to 28th of April.
For the second year, the Académie organised at the Headquarters of the African Union and in partnership with the "Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie" a training session on the interview techniques. Antoine Cormery led two workshops on the 25th and 26th of April for African diplomats and senior civil servants of the AU.
Sofia Amara hosted in Lebanon from 18th to 21st of April, two training sessions on TV reporting. The first was for MTV journalists and the second for LBC journalists. These sessions are part of the EU project OPEN Media Hub.
From April 2nd to 6th, Fady Matar led a voice training session at the Al Jazeera Media Institute in Doha. 9 participants from several Arab coutries attended this session.
The Académie was present at the Cabsat exhibition in Dubai from March 21st to 23rd. Fady Matar who was representing the Académie at this event, met several media and training organisations.
As part of the EU project OPEN Media Hub, Sofia Amara hosted a training session on TV reporting for the Jordanian channel Roya TV in Amman from 13th to 17th of March.
