Supporting the launch of a new news channel in Iraqi Kurdistan was the mission entrusted to the Academy's experts by the leaders of Kurdistan 24. In January 2015, five experts/journalists from France 24 traveled to Erbil to train the channel's new editorial teams: fact-checking, reporting, stand-up, magazine programs, and presentations. The workshops were held at an intensive pace to equip the young K24 news team with all the necessary skills to provide its future viewers with the best news broadcasts, reports, and programs.
