The Académie organised a three-day training course on fact-checking at the French Institute in Baghdad from 12 to 14 October. Djamel Belayachi from France 24 led the workshop, which was attended by 15 Iraqi journalists from Karbala, Mosul and Erbil, invited by the French Embassy. Numerous media outlets were represented, as well as the Faculty of Journalism in Baghdad.
