The Académie was in Kyrgyzstan as part of a programme funded by the French Embassy to help journalists in Central Asia. Maeva Poulet travelled to Bishkek on 8 and 9 July to run a training course on fact checking and online investigation. She discussed with the journalists present the issues of infoxes in the age of AI and the verification of photo and video content. Workshops were held to put the theory into practice.
