The Academy was in Tajikistan as part of a programme funded by the French Embassy to help journalists in Central Asia. Maeva Poulet travelled to Dushanbe on 3 and 4 July to run a training course on fact checking and online investigation. She was able to discuss with the journalists present the issues of news in the age of AI and the verification of photo and video content. Workshops were held to put the theory into practice.
