On 20 December, the France Médias Monde Académie organised a training certificate award ceremony on the campus of the Faculty of Media at Damascus University.

A total of 80 Master's students in journalism were able to attend the Academy's training courses on ‘Fundamentals of Journalism’, ‘TV Reporting’ and ‘Digital Journalism’, led by Sofia Amara, senior reporter and winner of the 2025 Bayeux Prize, and Dana Alboz, France 24's correspondent in Syria.

The project, funded by CFI, has helped to build relationships of trust with the dean and professors of the University in order to support them in reforming the curriculum.
