Designing and producing radio magazines: this was the theme of the training courses run by the Academy from 20 February to 2 March 2012 at two regional radio stations belonging to the NBC (Namibian Broadcasting Corporation). Sophie Marsaudon travelled to Oshakati, in the far north of Namibia, to work with journalists and producers from Service Oshiwambo, the country's largest vernacular radio station. The second training session was held in Katima Mulilo, the capital of the Caprivi Strip (northeast), at a radio station that broadcasts in the Lozi language. However, the trainer and trainees decided to communicate in English!
