Antoine Cormery, Director of the Académie, and Sofia Amara, senior reporter and winner of the 2025 Bayeux Prize for France 24, visited Erbil in Kurdistan (Iraq) on 3 and 4 December. They presented journalism students at Hawler University and Polytechnic University with a series of free e-learning videos on digital journalism produced in Baghdad as part of the JOII project (2022-2024) and subtitled in Kurdish (Sorani) with the support of the French Embassy in Iraq. 
These videos are a learning tool for students and also serve as teaching aids for professors.
