From 27 to 31 January 2013, Fady Matar led a training workshop on designing and producing radio programmes at Senghor University in Alexandria. Organised as part of the Master's 2 programme in Communication and Media, the course brought together 15 students from Algeria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, the Central African Republic, the Comoros, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Haiti, Rwanda, Senegal, Chad and Togo.
